First I like to thank Brent at iBoughtAMac.com for pointing me to the right direction for starting this blog, much appreciated. If you have any questions about Mac’s I recommend checking his site out.

As for me I just lost one computer, it crashed or something. I have Computer Associates anti-virus software on it and did my monthly computer scan then walked away from it while it scans because it takes time. Next thing I know the computers off and I can’t reboot it. After much searching for the problem turns out I need to load the XP discs that came with it, but the problem with that is it never came with them. The geniuses at HP decided to load the XP discs onto my hard drive which now won’t reboot, and that sucks. So now I’m down to my iMac and my Toshiba laptop.

Anybody have any suggestions on a small laptop with a screen between 13-15 inches. I was looking at the new Dell XPS M1330, Alienware Area-51 m5550, or the Macbook as possible choices. Also looking for an external hard drive and software to edit pictures like Photoshop, ArcSoft or something.

As for the blog itself it’s a working progress and hope to start building more in the coming months.

What a day I had yesterday. I started out with the idea that I wanted to connect my Apple to my LCD for a second screen. So to make this happen I needed a mini-dvi to VGA adapter to connect to the computer to the screen so I had to either buy it online or just go to the Apple Store. Being me, I wanted it now so I decided to drive to the store and get it. (Side note: I got to test and see the iPhone for the first time and that phone is great, but AT&T EDGE network is slow.) So I got the adapter and brought it home opened it and it was the wrong adapter. Some person or manufacture error had put the wrong adapter into the package. So I had to drive all the way back and exchange it for the right one on top of that it was raining hard and my Service Engine Soon light went on in my car. It just wasen’t a good day to get out of bed. As for the error I should of taken a picture of the packaging and adapter, so I could’ve showed you guys the error. As for the exchange I did get an apology from the manager but still it was a lot of time lost. However I am proud to say that the two screens are sync together and working great, so this story has a happy ending I guess.

Pretty cool huh…
